Each kit offers locally grown plants that have been carefully chosen to accomodate varying environments like full sun or part shade, providing a choice for every individual property. F.I.G.S. kits
As a Florida Resident, know your rights to landscape!
Florida Statute 373.185 Local Florida-friendly landscaping ordinances, Section 3 (a) (b) and (c) state the following:
(a) The Legislature finds that the use of Florida-friendly landscaping and other water use and pollution prevention measures to conserve or protect the state’s water resources serves a compelling public interest and that the participation of homeowners’ associations and local governments is essential to the state’s efforts in water conservation and water quality protection and restoration.
(b) A deed restriction or covenant may not prohibit or be enforced so as to prohibit any property owner from implementing Florida-friendly landscaping on his or her land or create any requirement or limitation in conflict with any provision of part II of this chapter or a water shortage order, other order, consumptive use permit, or rule adopted or issued pursuant to part II of this chapter.
(c) A local government ordinance may not prohibit or be enforced so as to prohibit any property owner from implementing Florida-friendly landscaping on his or her land.
Our Policies
Please read the following carefully. Each kit purchaser will be required to sign a Service Agreement with the following Terms & Conditions.
Landscapers are allowed to install select kit(s) on private owner residences. The location of the kit is to be agreed upon with questionnaire form. The purchaser of the kit is to put a downpayment on the kit wanting to be purchased at least 2 weeks prior to installation. Landscapers are to perform agreed tasks of installation and are to collect the remaining total of the owed invoice for kit purchased. If failure to do so, landscapers are allowed to remove all installed plants, materials, etc from private residents property. All affiliated with F.I.G.S kits and or Plant Lives Matter LLC are not to be held responsible for the kit after installation and the downpayment will not be refunded. All affiliated with F.I.G.S. kits and or Plant Lives Matter LLC are not to be held accountable for pet or human consumption/ allergy/ or any other conflict with plants or material from kit installation. The purchaser of the kit is to be held accountable for all of his/ her interaction with the kit installed by landscapers of F.I.G.S. kits or Plant Lives Matter LLC.
Deposit; must be paid in full before installation can begin.
Refunds; the deposit is nonrefundable with the exception of- if Plant Lives Matter cannot provide service on the agreed upon date or if there is a material supply shortage.
Milage; if the purchaser is located outside of a 60 mile radius, an additional $260 will be added to the total bill, as well an additional $2 per mile after the initial 60 miles.
